  2. Modifying Segments

  4. The direction lines and direction points at either end of a curved segment control the shape and size of that segment. You change a curved segment by dragging one of the direction points.

  6. Step 1
  7. Select the Arrow tool, then click a segment.
  8.  
  9. Step 2
  10. Position the pointer on one of the direction points that appear and drag it around its anchor point using an arc motion.

  12. Step 3
  13. Drag the direction point away from the anchor point.
  14.  
  15. Step 4
  16. When you‚Äôre finished, select the Arrow tool, then click away from the path to deselect it.
